Carrie Underwood Reunites With Guns N’ Roses In Atlanta

Carrie Underwood reunited with Guns N’ Roses during the latter’s concert at Truist Park in Atlanta on Saturday. The country star and renowned rockers came together once again for the GNR classics “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Paradise City.”

Underwood was a frequent Guns N’ Roses collaborator early this decade. In 2022, GNR frontman Axl Rose joined Carrie at the Stagecoach Festival and later that year the country singer came out with GNR when Rose was suffering from vocal issues, performing “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” Subsequently, Underwood went on tour with GNR in 2023, spinning more collabs.

The latest team-up in Atlanta saw Carrie reprising her role on both “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” Watch below:

GNR opened in Atlanta with another hit, “Welcome To The Jungle,” off their 1987 debut album Appetite For Destruction. Additional popular tunes performed in Atlanta included “You Could Be Mine,” “Civil War,” “November Rain” and the band’s hit cover of Paul McCartney‘s “Live and Let Die.”

GNR also delivered two Black Sabbath covers, “Junior’s Eyes” and “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.” Bassist Duff McKagan led the group on a take of Misfits‘ “Attitude.” Following “Civil War,” guitarist Slash ripped through his customary guitar solo. Scroll down for the full Atlanta setlist and more.
