Warren Haynes Reveals 2026 Christmas Jam Lineup: Greta Van Fleet, The War On Drugs & More

Warren Haynes will bring the 34th Christmas Jam to ExploreAsheville.com Arena in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina on Saturday, December 12. Greta Van Fleet and The War On Drugs are among the acts confirmed for the 2026 benefit, which will raise funds for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity and BeLoved Asheville.

Haynes’ band Gov’t Mule is also on the bill alongside JJ Grey & Mofro and Daniel Donato & Friends. Special guests announced so far include Jesse Welles, Lukas Nelson, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and Yola. Additional participants will be revealed.

“I’m really excited about this year’s lineup,” Haynes stated in a press release. “It reflects the diverse array of musical styles that Christmas Jam is known for which also reflects my own personal taste.”

Christmas Jam began in 1988 at Asheville’s small 45 Cherry club, bringing together musicians home for the holidays to play music and support local charities. Haynes and his wife, Stefani Scamardo, began directing the event’s proceeds to Habitat for Humanity in 1998. According to organizers, the fundraiser has since generated nearly $3 million for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, helping build more than 50 homes and covering land development and infrastructure expenses for Habitat neighborhoods. Fellow beneficiary BeLoved Asheville also works to address housing insecurity in the community.

The event’s hometown mission took on additional urgency after Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina in 2024, preventing that year’s Christmas Jam from going forward as planned. Haynes instead partnered with Dave Matthews Band on the Soulshine benefit at Madison Square Garden, which raised more than $4.5 million for recovery efforts in North Carolina and Florida. Christmas Jam returned to Asheville in 2025 with a lineup that included a Phil Lesh tribute, Stone Temple Pilots and MJ Lenderman & The Wind.

VIP and travel packages go on sale Tuesday, October 20 at 10 a.m. ET. A local, in-person ticket presale follows Wednesday, October 21 at 10 a.m. ET at the arena box office. The public onsale begins Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. ET, both online and at the box office.
